Boesch Motorboat

A LEGENDARY NAME AND BOATING DREAM COME TRUE

What started over 95 years with a passion for traditional boat-building and developed continuously over four generations, has now become the epitome of high performance classic mahogany boats. The Boesch water crafts are characterized by a synthesis of form and function and strongly prove that there are still things that are perfect.

LAYERS - THE BOESCH TECHNIQUE (BLT)

For centuries, people have entrusted their lives with ships and boats manufactured with wood. Mahogany has long proven its worth as a material of choice for the manufacturing of wood crafts, thanks to its exceptional resistance to rot and its very favorable strength to weight ratio.  A substantial portion of this precious wood originates from dedicated plantations and our Swiss suppliers, along with ourselves, have committed to strictly use FSC-certified supplies, if it is available in sufficient quantities. In addition to Mahogany, we occasionally use spruce, pine, larch and maple wood.

In contrast to older plank construction techniques used up until 1965, Boesch is now using its own method of multi-layer external skin building, thus guaranteeing an extremely flexible and rigid hull.
